Blazer – mobile app for young women aged 16-24

  • Blazer is a mobile app for young women aged 16-24 to break glass ceilings and build true community. It removes existing barriers that have created loneliness, mental health issues and a lack of opportunity for women by creating a space for them to make friends, to find and connect with successful, senior leaders from top companies. They would also be able to join a community of other supportive young women to help get through some hard times. It is a no-cost app that seeks to directly service young women who want to become the best possible versions of themselves while seeking to also help other women to do the same.
  • Released by Jeboah Miranda Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides educational and financial assistance to women who have been affected by suicide and offers mental toughness programs to female youth to teach them how to cope. It was founded by Jeboah Miranda, an Indigenous woman who has lost her two brothers to suicide.
  • The app connects female youth to mentors who can guide them, and to build friendships and garner emotional support to help them through their career and personal journeys.

The app is currently available on Android and IOS.
